SimuLearn

Terms of Use

Last updated 22 October 2026. The rules for using SimuLearn.

About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and SimuLearn (“we”, “us”), an education initiative of Adsoft Online Ltd., which operates SimuLearn and is the company that contracts with you and controls your data, for using simulearn.org and app.simulearn.org. By creating an account or using the app you accept them and our Privacy Notice. If you use SimuLearn through a course or programme, you also follow your lecturer’s course rules. Questions: hello@simulearn.org.

What SimuLearn is

SimuLearn is an educational simulation. The businesses, numbers, prices, tax rules, lender and investor terms are modelled for teaching and many are labelled as assumptions. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, and nothing in a game should be relied on for a real decision. Scores show how you performed in the simulation, not a prediction of how you would do in business.

Certificates

A certificate is issued when a course is completed to the required standard and any conditions of the course are met. Each certificate has a code that anyone can use to check it is genuine. A certificate shows what you achieved in a simulation; it is not a professional qualification or a degree.

Availability and changes

We work to keep SimuLearn available but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update the simulation, which can change how a game scores. We may change or retire a feature, and we may update these terms; we will tell you of important changes in the app or by email, and continued use means you accept them.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for losses that the law does not allow us to exclude. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from decisions you make based on a simulation, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Nigerian consumer or data protection law.

Ending your use

You can stop at any time and students can erase their account from the Account page. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Terms that by their nature should continue (such as ownership and liability) continue after that.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction, unless the law gives you the right to go elsewhere.
